Set-up process for existing customers

Once you confirm that you would like to add Geospatial to your Citizen Space, your customer success manager will be in touch to go through the next steps.
You will need to:
Confirm your Geospatial ‘switch-on’ date, and book in a call with us on that day to run through the set up.
Decide which mapping provider(s) you will be using.
All customers can use OpenStreetMap (OSM) through Geoapify. This provides you with global map coverage, postcode search and a selection of map styles.
If you are in Great Britain, you can also use Ordnance Survey (OS). OS provides additional tile sets and is a company owned by UK Government, so is well suited for statutory activities. Note: To use Ordnance Survey your organisation needs to have your own account.
Let your customer success manager know if there are additional regional mapping providers that you'd like us to integrate with.
Those are the main technical elements to get you set up with Geospatial for Citizen Space. But you may also need to start thinking about how you will let your existing admin users know about Geospatial for Citizen Space, specifically about the switch-on date and the new features that will appear.
Once you are all set up, you can start adding mapping pages into your Citizen Space surveys!
Decide which you would like to have as the default for your map, and consider if you would like to limit which tilesets can be used in your site.
Make sure that you can access your (please don’t tell us this information, you or a colleague from your organisation will add it directly into your site during the set up call).
